- Pet profiles (name, type, breed, age, weight, allergies)
- Pet photos (if you choose to add them)
- Barcode scan history

- Device type and operating system version
- App usage analytics (anonymized)
- Crash reports (anonymized)
How We Store Your Data
All pet profiles and scan history are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your personal data or pet information to our servers.
Product information is fetched from third-party databases (Open Food Facts, Open Pet Food Facts) when you scan a barcode. These requests do not include any personal information.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your name or contact information
- Location data
- Payment information (handled by Apple)
- Advertising identifiers
Third-Party Services
Pawsure uses the following third-party services:
- Open Food Facts / Open Pet Food Facts: Product database for ingredient information
- FDA openFDA API: Pet food recall information
- TheDogAPI / TheCatAPI: Breed information
- Apple App Store: For in-app purchases (if applicable)

Camera and Photo Access
Pawsure requests camera access to scan barcodes and take pet photos. Camera images are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. Photos you add to pet profiles are stored only on your device.
Children's Privacy
Pawsure does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data. You can delete the app at any time to remove all stored information. There is no data retained on our servers.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data stored by the app (viewable in Settings)
- Delete your data by uninstalling the app
- Opt out of analytics (if implemented)
Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information. Since data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
